For People who do not have 7 Way Plug In you are able to hardwire with a four way flat harness (models GG302 and GG305) or three way harness (Models GG303 and GG304)

Installation Instructions for Model GG302 and GG305

Tools needed: Test Light, Philips head or Flat head Screwdriver (depending on vehicle), pliers
Two people will be needed to complete this installation

  1. Place vehicle parking brake on.
  2. Remove left rear tail light assembly.
  3. You will need to find the following wires – Back up wire, Parking light wire and Brake light wire.

    a) Back-up wire - with key in on position (but engine not running and parking brake on) put vehicle in reverse - use a test light to find back up wire. When test light lights up, mark this wire as the back-up wire for future splicing.

    b) Parking light wire - With key in on position (but engine not running) and parking lights on - use a test light to find parking light wire, when test light lights up, mark this wire as the Parking light wire for future splicing

    c) Brake light wire - With key in on position (but engine not running) apply brakes – use a test light to find the Brake light wire, when test light lights up, mark this wire as the Brake light wire for future splicing.
  4. Shut off ignition.
  5. Feed harness underneath vehicle into tail light assembly.
  6. Using scotch blocks provided connect harness as marked to corresponding wires in tail light assembly (those will be the wires you previously marked).
  7. Attach White ground wire from harness to frame of vehicle (may need to cut excess wire off to shorten length of white ground wire).
  8. Re-assemble rear tail light
  9. Use the enclosed plastic wire ties to attach harness so it will not interfere with moving parts or hot exhaust.
  10. Plug in and Go!


Installation for Models GG303 and GG304



  1. Place vehicle parking brake on and put wheel chock blocks in the front and rear of rear wheel.
  2. Remove left rear tail light assembly.
  3. You will need to find the following wires – Back up wire and Parking light wire.

    a) Back-up wire - with key in on position (but engine not running and parking brake on) put vehicle in reverse - use a test light to find back up wire. When test light lights up, mark this wire as the back-up wire for future splicing.

    b) Parking light wire - With key in on position (but engine not running) and parking lights on - use a test light to find parking light wire, when test light lights up, mark this wire as the Parking light wire for future splicing
  4. Shut off ignition.
  5. Feed harness underneath vehicle into tail light assembly.
  6. Using scotch blocks provided connect harness as marked to corresponding wires in tail light assembly (those will be the wires you previously marked).
